"That those who are going, would no longer feel alone or forgotten, but known, loved and cared for. That there would be a new-found urgency in the Church to raise up and send out our members; and that those who stay would engage wholeheartedly in their God-given roles as Senders."

Lauren was born in New Hampshire, but has lived in Florida since 2007.  She lost her taste for the mundane when she fell in love with Jesus at the age of 15 and later chose to pursue missions instead of college. When she was 20 years old she took a missions course, “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement" and went on to coordinate said course the following year.

During her time with Perspectives, she was able to connect with many missionaries who represent various causes throughout the world, all with the motivation of reaching every last people group with the Good News of Jesus.

Through these different relationships, along with short term mission trips, her eyes were opened to the massive problem, which is missionary neglect. Her heart was wrecked by the pain, isolation, and loneliness that so many of our brothers and sisters, who have devoted their lives cross-cultural missions, encounter.

At the same time, she found herself surrounded by people who are deeply grieved and overwhelmed by the vast amount of need in this world. They don't necessarily feel called to pack up and move overseas, and so they struggle to figure out their role in the grand scheme of things, or simply get too overwhelmed and attempt to forget the burdens that weighs so heavily on their hearts.

So, with much help from a few dear friends, she set out to launch SendWell. The vision that God has given for this organization is that, by any means necessary, every single member of the Body of Christ would be fully united and entirely engaged in the Great Commission of Christ. That those who are going, would never feel alone or forgotten, but entirely known, loved and cared for. That there would be a new-found urgency in the Church to raise up and send out our members to the most difficult places; and that those who stay would engage whole-heartedly in their God-given roles as Senders.
